1907

In 1907, Shosaku Morita established the Fire Protection Association on his personal management in 19 Kitasumiya-machi, Minami-ku, Osaka-shi
(Currently 1-12-11 Nishishinsaibashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka-shi).

Shifted sales head office to 1 Kyuzaemon-cho, Minami-ku, Osaka-shi (Currently 2-15-1 Nishishinsaibashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka-shi).

The company product gasoline pump was the winner gold cup of "Peace Memorial, Tokyo Exhibition" held from March 10 at Ueno Park, Shinobazunoikehan, Tokyo.

1926

The Morita type "wear less fire fighting pump" won the gold cup of the "Electric Specials Exhibition" held from April 1 in Yakumo-cho, Minato-ku, Osaka-shi.

Morita's magazine ad in the Taisho Period. Posted an ad for "Morita-style Wear less Pumper" in automotive magazine "Jidosha no Nippon" (December issue published on December 1, 1926 at the regular price of ¥0.4).

1928

First time developed a high performance fire fighting pumper discharging 1,000 gallon water per minute (3,785 liters) and delivered to Osaka Prefecture and Japanese Emperor was present at the occasion.

1932

Considering expansion to the new situations, Morita Gasoline Pump Seisakusho Co., Ltd. was set up to inherit the former company.

Developed 60 feet (18m) wooden ladder truck and delivered the first unit to Kure-shi clothing factory, Hiroshima-shi. This is the first ladder truck manufactured in Japan.

1944

After the WWII, as the demand for the army and navy also increased along with the demand from civilians had been increased, then the head factory at Yakumo-cho, Minato-ku, Osaka-shi was controlled under the army munitions bureau and navy air force department. Hence purchased a factory in 2-33 Harami-cho, Ikuno-ku, Osaka-shi (Currently 5-5-20 Shojihigashi, Ikuno-ku, Osaka-shi). This Ikuno Factory, became a special factory manufacturing every kind of fire fighting pump.

1948~1962 Postwar Reconstruction

1948

Established Morita Pump Service Factory Ltd.
in 3-32 Ootomo-cho, Ikuno-ku, Osaka-shi.

1949

Developed 55 feet (16.7m) mechanical metallic ladder truck (3-section) and delivered to the Tokyo Fire Department.

1950

Japan's first fully automatic metallic 100 feet (30m) ladder truck (4-section) was developed and the first unit was delivered to Osaka-shi (The building behind is the old Osaka City Hall).

1951

(#1) Foundry reopened. After it was built in June 1941 at 2-18, Takaidanaka, Fuse-shi, Osaka, it was temporarily closed and was reopened in May 1951.

1953

Developed Japan's first water tower truck with the maximum expansion 19.6m (ground height 15m) and maximum applied water discharge 2,500 liters/min.

1956

1960

(#1) For General Insurance Association contribution, Japan's first 16m aerial platform truck was developed as well as manufactured by our company and its first unit was delivered to Osaka-shi. The advent of this machine has caused large reformation in our countries solid fire fighting mechanization.

Changed the trade name from Morita Pump Kogyo. Co., Ltd. to Morita Fire Pump MFG. Co., Ltd.

A part of production in the head factory's manufacturing factory was shifted to this factory, and manufacturing of various fire extinguishers and the fire-extinguishing chemicals was started. The system of mass production could be executed.

1963~1976 Global Expansion

Morita type crane (half-roating hydraulic type 7 tons truck crane) that was under research for previous some years as a part of diversified business, was developed and its first unit was delivered to Onishi Transportation.

1965

(#1) Manufactured and delivered 114 chemical tenders to A.P.A.(U.S. Army Procurement Agency) and thus heightening our company's name domestically and internationally.

Completed the head office company building in 2-33 Harami-cho, Ikuno-ku, Osaka-shi. (Currently 5-5-20 Shoji-Higashi, Ikuno-ku, Osaka-shi, Osaka).

Released "Venus", an all-round small-size fire extinguisher for the household. Under general sales agency agreement with Mitsui Co.,Ltd., launched a major nationwide TV promotion of "Venus", talking full advantage of Mitsui's sales channel.

By making technical tie-up with Snorkel Fire Equipment Company in America, new model water tower truck was completed and the first unit was exported to Thailand.

The stock was listed on the second section of Osaka Securities Exchange and listed on the second section of Tokyo Stock Exchange in 1979.

1974

40m ladder truck that became number one in the Orient was delivered to Chicago.

1975

Developed airport rescue and fire fighting vehicle.

1976

1980

Alternative listing was listed on the first section of the Osaka Security Exchange and Tokyo Stock Exchange.

1983

Developed small sized 4.4m vehicle to work in high places "Mini Mast Van" and started sales as electric communication and construction work.

1985

Developed new ladder truck "Super Gyro Ladder MLEX5-30" equipped with various types of safely devices including the innovative Gyro-formula ladder sloping reformation device.

Fire extinguisher "Madonna" with a small window was announced and started sales.

1989

Announced globe type fire extinguisher "La Terre 10 type P"
and sales started from January 1990.

1990

Developed 50m ladder truck and the first unit was delivered to Kobe-shi.

Developed small sized jet boat "Eagle One" mounted with new model jet pump and entered into Marine business field.

1991

Developed chassis for fire fighting vehicles. Using this chassis, "Super Gyro Ladder" MH type ladder trucks were manufactured and its sales started. It was awarded with Good Design Award for the first time.

1992

Started sales of fire fighting and disaster prevention helicopter of Sikorsky of America as an agency in Japan.

Developed fire extinguisher with doll shape having fire extinguisher on its back "Bousai Taro".

1993

Developed talkative fire extinguisher "Mercury"
which guides operation procedure with sound in unique form.

Completed the construction of Sanda Factory at
2-3 Techno park, Sanda-shi, Hyogo Prefecture.

1994

Merged Morita Pump Service Centre. Entered into environmental enterprise field of recycling processing institution and garbage processing institution. By merging, established Funabashi Factory at 1530 Konoda-cho, Funabashi-shi, Chiba Prefecture.

Established Ueno Factory at 1700-2 Konshinzuka, Sanagu-cho, Ueno-shi, Mie Prefecture (Currently 1700 Konshinzuka, Sanagu-cho, Iga-shi, Mie Prefecture).

1996

Delivered the first device to sort bottles automatically to
"Recycling center" in Itabashi-ku, Tokyo.

1997

Changed the trade name from Morita Fire Pump MFG.CO.,Ltd. to Morita Corporation. Extablished new logo mark.

2000~2007 Morita Brand

2000

Completed the large scale plant "Gamagori City recycle plaza" of Gamagori-shi, Aichi Prefecture.

Developed a home-visit bathing service car "Yunoka-07" (light car type), and entered into welfare industries.

2001

Morita Econos Corporation established a joint venture company "Nanjing Chenguan Morita Environment Protection & Technology Co.,Ltd" with Aerosun Corporation.

Concluded a tie-up concerning capital-related operations with Miyata Industry Co., Ltd.

2002

World's first "Fire Fighting Ambulance FFA-001" which is the combination of functions of fire fighting vehicle and ambulance was press released.

Successfully customized expired fire extinguishing agents by recycling them as material in the fertilizer's production.

2004

Developed and sold exclusive chassis for ladder truck " MHII Max" with the latest design.

Developed and sold new generation CD-1 type fire fighting pumper " CD-1α".

Developed next generation 30m high performance ladder truck and participated in the exhibition hosted by IFCAA (International Fire Chiefs Association of Asia).

2005

Delivered World's first "Fire Fighting Ambulance FFA" to Matsudo-shi, Chiba Prefecture.

Developed fire extinguisher by recycling reproduction fire extinguishing chemicals "Eco Venus".

Received an order for 102 units of maintenance vehicles to assistant revival of Iraq.

Tied up OEM contract with Chinetti of Italy for fire fighting vehicles.

Delivered first unit of shredder (TH-3500) with 3500hp which is the maximum grade capacity in Japan, to the Sangyo Shinko Co.,Ltd.

Developed "fire suppressant and explosion prevention grenade" along with Shiga Prefecural Police. Started sales by adding modifications, in "Shokyu-dan" flask type in January 2006 and ball type in March the same year.

2006

Developed and announced a Hazmat vehicle (for counter terrorism).

Established a sales company (joint venture) for China "Morita Holdrich (Hong Kong) Company Limited" in Hong Kong.

Tied up the contract of manufacturing and sales in Japan of eddy current separator and electric inductive sensor separator with SGM of Italy.

2007

Started sales of "Fire Fighting Flower" for a tempura oil fire.

Developed new fire fighting vehicle "Miracle CAFS Car" and made the announcement to the press.

Developed and announced "Emergency Use Body Bag".

Developed and announced vibration suppress control for ladder trucks.

Developed large-capacity foam spray system for the industrial complex.

2008~2012 Into the New Century

2008

Delivered the first unit of multifunctional type fire fighting vehicle "REDSEAGULL" and delivered to the Hachioji City Volunteer Fire Corps in Tokyo.

Developed rear-carry in/out type "Fire Fighting Ambulance"
and delivered to Mutsu-shi, Aomori Prefecture.

The Pump Business, the Disaster Prevention Business and the Environmental Business were reborn as MORITA CORPORATION. MORITA BOHSAI TECH CORPORATION and MORITA ENVIRONMENTAL TECH CORPORATION, respectively.

2014

Remodeled and started selling rotary extrusion garbage collector "Pack Master",
high-performance suction truck "Powerful Master" and high-pressure cleaning

Marged Morita Bohsai Tech Corporation with Miyata Industry Co.,Ltd.
and changed the company name to Morita Miyata Corporation.

Developed Nitrogen Enriched Air (NEA) generating system and delivered
"Miracle N7" fire truck which is equipped with the NEA generating system.

2015

Presented "Habot-mini", a future concept model which extinguishes
fires without using water.

Jointly developed 360° View Safety Camera System
for fire trucks "Morita Advanced Monitor AM series" with Clarion Co., Ltd.

2016

Acquired 100% shares of BRONTO SKYLIFT OY AB.

Started selling horizontal loading type container loader "ACCULOADER"

2017

Morita Econos Corporation moved its head office and factory to Techno Park,
Sanda-shi, Hyogo Prefecture.

Developed "Miracle Foam α+(PLUS)," a specialized CAFS extinguishing agent that supports operations within the minimum operating temperatures of minus 20 degrees Celsius.

Developed the "MVF Multi-Purpose Fire Fighting Vehicle with 13m Aerial Platform". The new vehicle now weighs less with the introduction of light-weight aerial platform made of aluminum, providing full compatibility with four-wheel-drive vehicles.

2018

Developed Miracle Light fire fighting vehicle(Type CD-I) less than Gross Vehicle Weight(GVW) 3.5t and MVF21 Multi-Purpose Fire Fighting Vehicle with 21m Aerial Platform.

Developed and started selling "VARICRUSHER™" a vertical crusher designed for small miscellaneous scraps and small-sized home electrical appliances, and "HYPERGUARD™" an explosion suppressing device that controls explosions within shredders.

Morita Econos Corporation started selling "Miracle Changer J01," an odor-eliminating pump oil control system for sanitary vehicles that was jointly developed with Kao Corporation under the concept, "turning unpleasant odor into pleasant smell."

2019

Established the disaster prevention brand "+maffs," which is incorporated into consumers' lifestyles, under the concept of "Take Bosai into your lifestyle" and started selling "+ Home-Use Fire Extinguisher" as the brand's first product.

Transferred the Tokyo Head Office to 5-36-7 Shiba, Minato-ku, Tokyo.

Foam shower "KINUAMI," which treats the entire body with a warm, natural silk foam, awarded a "Good Design Award 2019."

2021

Started the sales of "Miracle Kiyora™," a garbage truck odor reduction device that was developed jointly with Kao Corporation, based on the concept of "Comfortable work without bothersome odors."

Developed and started the sales of "Kiritutu", the first residential downward ejection type automatic fire extinguishing system designed for movable booths in the industry.

Implemented a model change for the "Morita Original Cabin Intelligent Attacker" and delivered the first cabin.

Donated two tons of firefighting foam to Ashikaga City Fire Department in response to a large-scale forest fire in Ashikaga City, Tochigi Prefecture.

2022
