Operating efficiency has been substantially improved through the use of a newly developed oil pressure system. Cutting speed capacity has increased by more than 40% compared with that of former standard models at 4 times a minute (no load). What is more, because of an emphasis on environmental considerations in the development stage, despite this increase in power the guillotine realizes a decrease of 40% in power consumption.
Space saving and low cost have been achieved by locating the power unit below the feed and by using a hydraulic motor for the feed device. A centering device moves the material to the center of the machine, eliminating stress on the mechanism and improving durability. A wide blade and outstandingly sharp, angled cutting frame ensure highly efficient cutting.
The standard equipment for processing heavy scrap, like scrapped ship material and construction waste. High strength, rigid parts such as the cast steel cutting frame and special steel guides offer outstanding cutting power. The Graphic Operation Terminal (GOT) built into the control and operation system enables the operator to check the operating status and location of problems at a glance. Maintainability has also been improved.
